In a career spanning over three decades, David Bush has established himself as a proven leader in fashion and business management. In his position as General Manager of Womenswear at David Jones, David played a major role in the development of companies fashion strategy (during the companies most successful period) as well as working closely with most of Australia’s most prolific designers to expand and improve their businesses, ensuring their long term sustainable success. David also played a significant role in the negotiation and launch of many of the international fashion houses on the Australian market today.

Today, as the founder of David Bush Consulting, David utilises his abilities as a manager and strategist to build high performing brands. Counting The Upside, Lee Mathews, Kit X, Gazal Corp, By Johnny and QICGRE amongst his client base, David Bush works closely with brands to drive business success through strategy development and implementation.

As well as having a passion for strategic management and the business of fashion, David is always focused on leading and developing high performing teams to continued and sustainable success.

More recently David has turned his hand to writing, contributing to such titles as Men’s Style, L’officiel and Sunday Life offering his perspective on Business, Fashion and his own passions.
